Dear Students,
As your professors here at the department of English Language and Literature, we are primarily concerned with your well-being at these unprecedented times. We all realize that it is not an easy time for you as well as for us. But as a big family here at our department let us use this opportunity to reflect on ourselves, to relax, pursue our hobbies and stay as much as possible with our loved ones.
As of Monday, March 23, all classes will resume and will be taught online. Although all of us are trying to make this as seamless a transition as possible, we do realize that there may be some difficulties to adapt to change both on your part and on ours, but we are confident that we will learn from each other as we have always done! Therefore I would like to thank you in advance for your continuing support and patience.
We are all here to support you, too, and believe that this period will prove to be a positive one to strengthen our consistent communication. Please follow your professors’ instructions on CATS and try to keep up with the deadlines as much as possible.
As our famous bard once said, “All’s Well That Ends Well”!
All the best from all of us,
On behalf of the department,
Prof. Işıl Baş
