THE STUDENT OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE SUDE AKSOY HAS RECEIVED 2209-A SUPPORT

Our fourth-year the student of the Department of English Language and Literature Sude Aksoy was granted support under the TÜBİTAK 2209-A: University Student Research Projects Support Program with her project titled “An Eco-Critical Analysis of Percy B. Shelley’s The Masque of Anarchy.”

We congratulate our student Sude Aksoy, who will conduct her work under the supervision of Res. Asst. Murat Kabak, and wish her continued success.

DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE MEETINGS

The first of the meetings with the faculty members of our Department of English Language and Literature, organized by the English Literature Society, the official student society of our Department of English Language and Literature, was held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 15:00 in the Erdal İnönü Seminar Hall in the Ataköy Building on the Bakırköy Campus. Our Head of the Department of English Language and Literature, Assist. Prof. Ayşegül Turan, participated in the event as the speaker and gave a speech titled "Why Do We Read Crime Fiction?"

DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE STUDENTS’ CONFERENCE PARTICIPATION

Ege University Department of English Language and Literature and the Department of American Culture and Literature hosted the 13th “International Undergraduate Symposium” with the theme “Meta” on March 17-18, 2025.

At the symposium where 42 participants made their oral presentations, 7 students from the Istanbul Kültür University Department of English Language and Literature successfully represented our university.
